Adhesives explained

Hot-melt: High tack, fast grab on standard cartons, ideal for high-throughput packing lines.

Natural rubber (PVC tapes): Excellent adhesion on recycled boards and colder rooms.
Starch-based (gummed paper): Environmental choice with superior seal integrity.

Print methods and colours

Flexographic printing: Best for brand colours at volume; Pantone matching for consistency.
Digital printing: Rapid setup for short runs, multi-SKU tests, or complex artwork.
1–3 spot colours are common on PP and PVC; full-colour possible on paper tapes and digital. We’ll advise the optimal route after reviewing your artwork and budget.

Core: 76 mm standard.
Widths: 24 mm, 36 mm, 48 mm, 50 mm, 72 mm (most popular: 48/50 mm).
Roll lengths: 50 m, 66 m, 100 m (paper gummed often 100–200 m).
Print area: Full width bleed or centre-repeat patterns; we help set the repeat so the logo lands cleanly on box flaps.
Wind: Left- or right-handed for dispenser orientation; ask if using automated tapers.

High contrast: Light ink on dark tape (or vice versa) reads best from distance.
Repeat frequency: Shorter repeats keep your logo visible on small boxes.

Keep line weights realistic: Minimum stroke/negative space depends on substrate—send vectors; we’ll proof it.

Store at 15–25°C, dry, away from direct sun.
Condition cartons and tape to room temperature for best adhesion.
Wipe dusty recycled boards; press firmly over seams and flap edges.
For gummed paper, use a dispenser that wets uniformly—bond is fibre-deep once dry.
